Veterans Day

Just a short post to acknowledge the service of all who have worn the uniform of the Armed Forces.  Thank you for stepping up and “putting your money where your mouth is.”  We all joined for many different reasons, be it patriotism, a sense of obligation, a search for adventure, money, benefits, or even all of the above.  Many people make sacrifices and practice patriotism when it involves their immediate family or their own community, but it’s a whole other thing to agree to put yourself in harm’s way when it’s for the rights of people you’ve never met and may not even agree with.  So, thank you to those of you who have worn the uniform and practiced service before self.
